MPSAXM - Management Plan Skills Assessment
The MPSAXM is designed to assess a student’s knowledge of the concepts, technical skills, and processes involved in preparing, analyzing, and completing a property management plan.
The MPSAXM begins with a two-day intensive review of key concepts in a virtual or in-person classroom setting. This is followed by an online four-hour complex multiple-choice and short answer questions exam which will evaluate your ability to conduct several real-world analyses and make recommendations across scenarios and property types.
It is strongly recommended that you fulfill the CPM education requirements before completing the management plan requirement.
REIC, through its partnership with IREM, is pleased to be able to provide your online examination and access to the course material using IREM’s learning platform.
Upon registration, you will receive access to a wealth of resources in the IREM Learning platform, including the MPSA Prep Tutorial.
You have 30 days from Day 2 of your MPSA course to complete the MPSA exam. Cell phones and tablets are not permitted during exam time.
The MPSAXM exam is taken with a live online proctor (LOP) through ProctorU. You must be already registered with REIC in order to schedule your exam with the live online proctor.
To pass the exam you must score at least 70%. The exam is a four-hour multiple-choice and open book exam. Hard copy or PDF IREM materials may be referenced during the exam.
If a failing grade is obtained on the exam, you must register for the course again and pay the registration fee in full each time.
Please note: Taking FIN402, ASM600, and MPSAXM in consecutive order is strongly recommended.
