About Membership with REIC
REIC Members are highly trained real estate professionals bound by the Institute’s Code of Professional Standards. To be a designated Member an individual must meet our strong admissions, education and practical experience requirements and also maintain membership with REIC.
How Do I Become A Member?
Members are individuals who currently maintain or are working towards REIC and IREM designations. The first step to becoming a Member is selecting a designation program, or contacting REIC to learn which program will best suit your career goals and experience level. Our Membership team will walk you through program benefits and requirements as well as the annual dues structure.
REIC designations help you build a thriving career in the real estate industry. Your membership distinguishes you as a real estate professional who has achieved the highest standards of experience and education, and who has made a solid commitment to business ethics.

The Application Process

Application forms are available for download on each designation page. After submitting your application, you will be notified once you are approved as a Candidate Member.
Our designation programs are highly recognized, and cover all disciplines of the real estate industry including real estate sales, property / asset management, finance, leasing, reserve fund planning, and underwriting.
Membership with REIC provides ongoing access to a wealth of resources, networking opportunities and business referrals. Members with property management credentials are also members of IREM and enjoy access to IREM’s vast resources and tools via the IREM website.
REIC Members are Industry Leaders
All REIC Members pledge to uphold the REIC Code of Professional Standards, and as such, conduct their professional activities in accordance with the code. Your designation is the public’s assurance that they are dealing with a professional who has made a career commitment to real estate.
